The SRHR Alliance

dance4life is part of the SRHR Alliance, with the Unite for Body Rights programme. The programme is active in nine countries in Asia and Africa.  Starting in 2011, the programme will continue until 2015.   

" The Alliance for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), consisting of five Dutch organisations, supports organisations in developing countries with the Unite for Body Rights programme. This programme is aimed at tackling maternal mortality and ensuring that young people, women and men have the opportunity to make their own choices about sexuality, whether or not they choose to have children, and family planning. This happens through, amongst other things, offering information, access to contraception, adequate care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, and childcare".
