Young People Living with HIV

At dance4life we know how important and powerful the experiences of people living with HIV are. Through their experiences, we can have a greater impact on HIV prevention and share with young people worldwide the importance of eradicating stigma and discrimination. That's why dance4life is working to create a space for Young People Living with HIV (YPLHIV) to share experiences, to network and also to take action and be part of a global movement.

Worldwide, there are an estimated 5 million YPLHIV, and dance4life is committed to finding new ways of involvement to make sure that YPLHIV have a space free of stigma and discrimination. Positive Speakers are a very important element in the dance4life schools programme, they share their life stories and they inspire others to take action to prevent HIV and to challenge stigma and discrimination.

The greater involvement of young people living with HIV is very important for dance4life; if you are a young person living with HIV and you want to take action, to share your story, connect with others and be part of the growing, dynamic dance4life movement please contact Pablo our YPLHIV Officer:p.torres@dance4life.com. He'd love to hear from you!
