About dance4life Zambia

The NCO of dance4life Zambia is Family Health Trust (FHT). FHT is a Zambian, community-based HIV and AIDS NGO.  From this platform, the following is a list of non-exhaustive previous activities: 

• Delivering prevention-based life-skills workshops to young people
• Writing and coordinating sexual and reproductive health curricula for AIDS Action Clubs (formerly Anti-AIDS Clubs)
• Scholastic and household sponsorship of OVCs
• Social research (positive parenting practices and Early Grades literacy/numeracy performance in schools)
• Home-based care and psychosocial support for PLHIV
• Information campaigns and awareness raising for tuberculosis, STI and other preventable infections/diseases

FHT have just taken up the role of NCO in May 2011 and will continue to develop dance4life in Zambia, building on the strong foundation created by Restless Development (Zambia), the NCO from 2007-2010 

dance4life Zambia started in 2007 (restart in 2011).
