The Dakar Challenge 2008
This is the fifth year that the Dakar Challenge is being held - a challenge to drive a car bought for just €500 from Amsterdam to Dakar. Every team raises money for charity as they drive through Europe and Africa, and this year the chosen charities are Dance4Life and Oxfam Novib.
If you are interested in taking part in the Challenge then please contact Rupert Springfield at Dance4Life International.
For teams who have already registered, read all about Dance4Life and our projects that you can support by fundraising for Dance4Life (in Dutch). For information in English, please email Rupert.
When you sign up to support Dance4Life, you can choose what free materials you want from us - car stickers, condoms, web banners, logos etc.
On 22nd September all the teams will be coming together in the Netherlands to get injections and information and meet each other, and Dance4Life will be there in true Dance4Life style - more information to follow!
The teams will be setting off from Amsterdam from 1st November - and we hope that lots of them will be driving to support Dance4Life and help to push back HIV and AIDS.
One team that has already signed up to support Dance4Life is team 4Dakar! The team is made up of Anne, Chris and Roel, so good luck to them!
