Tanzanian students go wild for national icon Fid Q and other stars

The Tanzanian Dance4Life Event was truly an award for students who had participated in the Tanzania Dance4Life Schools Project. 5,000 agents of change danced to the music of Tanzanian stars Fid Q, the Unique Sisters and Dance4Life's own moodclip-singer Ebby Sykes.

All dressed in white Dance4Life T-shirts, the students were enthusiastically part of the global statement of hope, expressed by tens of thousands of students dancing all over the world. 15 year-old Happy Ibrahimu from the Kambangwa School: "AIDS is bad. Start dancing stop AIDS." Christina Singira, also 15, agrees: "Dance4Life has really made me think!".

When the satellite images of the dancing Tanzanian students were sent around the world, students dancing in seven other countries shared the joy and excitement felt by those in Tanzania.
