The dance4life experience, on February 11th in the Odeon in Amsterdam, aimed to inspire, educate and activate people to support dance4life. Amongst those present were stakeholders, supporters and friends of dance4life. The experience finished in true dance4life style with, of course, a celebration!
dance4life collects cheque for second year of funding at the National Postcode Lottery Gala

Postcode Lottery managing director Marieke van Schaik presented dance4life with a cheque for €500,000 at the lottery’s Goed Geld Gala 2010, where the lottery revealed how it would allocate its 2009 revenues to charity.

Jenerik Soulz, ambassadors for dance4life South Africa, have been officially been appointed Ambassadors for the Fair Play for Africa Campaign. Fair Play for Africa is a pan African campaign that aims to use the platform of 2010 FIFA World Cup to ensure equitable access to quality health services for African citizens especially women, children, and people living with HIV and AIDS using civil society organisations from across the African continent.

dance4life is participating in two alliances to apply for subsidies from the Dutch Cofinancing System II 2011-2015 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs grant framework): Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Alliance and the International HIV and AIDS Alliance, the Netherlands.

In October Judith de Frel was one of the winners of the World of Difference programme. Thanks to this programme, set up by the Vodafone Netherlands Foundation, she will be working in South Africa for one year as brand manager dance4life South Africa.
