Dance4Life at Glastonbury

18-06-2008

Dance4life UK is going to be on stage at the world renowned Glastonbury music festival!

Students from the BRIT School, who participated in the Dance4Life schools projects in November, have decided to bring Dance4Life to the stage, and use their creativity and drive to promote HIV and AIDS activism.

One of the performing BRIT students said:
“We are proud to be working with Dance4Life to raise awareness in the global struggle in support of the victims of HIV and AIDS.”

The event will take place in the Leftfield Tent at Glastonbury on Friday 27th 2pm – 6pm. The BRIT School and Dance4life line up at Glastonbury includes Red Zebra and ex-students Tawiah, supported by Blue and Jodie, plus Dockers MC and Charlene Soria. The afternoon will see students coming to the stage to perform, raise awareness of Dance4Life and HIV and AIDS.

This show will also feature Audio/Visual material prepared by students from Art & Design which will provide links between sections. In addition to playing the music, BRIT school students will also be crewing the Leftfield stage, filming and providing visuals throughout the festival.

So if you are going to be at Glastonbury, come along, and show your support! Please help us give young people the opportunity to have control over HIV, and not the other way round.

Be part of it, Start dancing, Stop AIDS!
