Mega FlashMob at Mexico City’s Zocalo

29-07-2008

Wanna join the largest Flash Mob ever? Come to the Zocalo (downtown square) of Mexico City on August 5th, at 12.30, dressed in white or red and join in with Dance4Life. DJ Oscar Velázquez, the No. 1 DJ in Mexico will be hosting a flash mob so that we can all let our actions speak louder than our words and help push back HIV and AIDS.

The Flash Mob will take place during the International AIDS Conference 2008, in Mexico City from August from 3rd to 8th August. There will be tens of thousands of people who work in the HIV field, media, important decision makers, and youth attending the conference. It is our chance to let them know we are aware of our responsibility and we think something should be done about the spread of HIV, now!. And what’s wrong with having a little fun along the way?

The Flash Mob will work like this: Arrive at 12:30, dressed in white and or red, with all your friends and as soon as you see DJ Oscar Velázquez approaching (don’t worry, you'll know when he arrives!) show your true colors and get ready to dance! And do it with all your energy because he won't be there all day… Actually… he will be there just enough time to do the Flash Mob, and when he’s done, he'll leave as quickly as he arrived! The objective is to leave the Zocalo as if nothing had happened, but with a big, loud and clear message hanging in the air: Start dancing, stop AIDS. Dance4Life.
