dance4life and Design Bridge build a truly global brand

As dance4life grows rapidly, expanding to 28 countries by the end of 2009, the need for a strong and more unified brand is crucial. Our aim is to create a global youth movement of 1 million agents of change by 2014. To drive this aim and really involve young people around the world empowering them to act and change their behavior it is crucial to have an iconic brand that they can connect to and feel affinity to.

So we collaborated with international branding agency Design Bridge to develop a new identity and house-style that clearly represents dance4life’s vision and brand values (energetic, experiential, inviting, progressive and inspirational) and also reflects the fact that dance4life is a unique organization - the only international organisation that uses the language of music and dance to empower youth around the world to push back HIV and AIDS.

More than an identity this ‘brand world’ can evolve with time and provide its corporate and youth audiences a platform and set of tools to express themselves and make the brand their own, encouraging creativity and experimentation.

The new identity will be launched initially in the Netherlands, Germany and Serbia and subsequently across the rest of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. By the end of 2009 the aim is to be present in 28 countries with one unified brand.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Design Bridge for their commitment, expertise and hours of work – without dedicated partners like this we could not continue to empower young people to push back the spread of HIV and AIDS.
