Barbados
Associates for International Development (AID Inc),a Caribbean regional organization formed in September 2004, is the national concept owner (NCO) of dance4life Barbados.

AID Inc’s development vision is to prevent and mitigate the impact of social and health problems of our communities, focusing on novel, targeted alleviation strategies. In striving to achieve this vision, we aim to develop best practices from the grass roots that will lead to a sustained fight against preventable social disorders, thus contributing to the development of our nations. AID Inc’s motto is, “from knowledge to application from sustainability.” We believe that building capacity in all forms, in particular through research, knowledge dissemination and skills building, and applying lessons learnt in real time - while developing sound evidence based strategies in the right balance - results in sustainable development outcomes in all targeted areas. These approaches underscore all of our interventions, implementation and programme design approaches. Main target groups are vulnerable populations (youth, women, economically disadvantaged/underserved, and PLHIV) and sectors (Government tourism and health).

Absolute Caribbean Fashion Event (ACF)
The ACF is an event that is staged annually by Unique Productions Worldwide. dance4life opened the shows’ “Barbados Night” with the dance4life 2009 moodclip and a pre-recorded video clip of dance4life Ambassador- model Doutzen Kroes. This was followed by an upbeat, funky, high impact dance routine performed on the 150 feet runway by a youth led local dance troupe to the music of Tiesto’s dance4life. The dancers then demonstrated a shortened version of the dance4life drill wearing our new dance4life Barbados t-shirts. The idea behind getting involved with the fashion show was that along with being a youth friendly, fun and positive atmosphere, we were also able to highlight the key components of dance4life to an audience of potential local sponsors and/or supporters as well as local media groups
