Kenya wows the world during the satellite connection!

Kenya certainly did dance4life proud on event day. The energy and enthusiasm of the nearly 2,500 strong crowd sent goosebumps around the world during the live satellite connection. From Washington to London, and from Ibiza to Durban, the buzz from the young Kenyans in Nairobi was an amazing moment!

The Kenyans were also proud to host a very special guest - Auma Obama. Auma, who lives in Nairobi, visited the event on a personal level, to show her support for dance4life :

"There is nothing more powerful and alive than thousands of young people dancing together for LIFE. It was amazing to watch and it was a privilege to be a part of this wonderful abundance and expression of self. "

The event ran for 6 hours, with many performances inclusing rap and dance, from the young people themselves. Media attention was also huge, with Nation TV giving coverage, plus many other leading Press groups.
