Aims, expectations in first year

In a large country like India, it is important to have a carefully planned approach to address adolescent issues. One such planned approach is through a dance medium which has been well received by the young people in many countries.
This approach will be initiated in three states in India in 2010, covering 8 cities with the aim of reaching 45,000 young people between 13-19 years of age at municipal, government and private schools. 10,000 change agents will be developed at the end of the project period.
All 4 stages (inspire, educate, activate, and celebrate) of the dance4life concept will be implemented including the event(s) on 27 November 2010 (Saturday before World AIDS Day) in the year 2010.
