ATL Sousse, the national concept owner of dance4life in Tunisia, is an abbreviation of “Tunisian Association against STIs and AIDS – Sousse Section-" (French name). ATL Sousse was launched on March 2006 is a part of a national NGOs network called RANCs.
ATL Sousse has 3 main objectives that are executed by a number of young volunteers: Raising Awareness: ATL Sousse aims to spread the information about various issues related to HIV/AIDS: Stigma, discrimination, gender equality, Sexually Transmitted Infections, testing, prevention etc, targeting both youth and adults. Education: Through a partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the international Youth Peer education Network (Y-PEER), ATL Sousse conducts comprehensive peer education sessions and trainings to youth aged 15-25. Support of people living with HIV/AIDS: ATL Sousse has a strong relationship with them, and it is doing its best to provide material and social support, especially for children and mothers living with HIV/AIDS.

dance4life Tunisia - the first year...
The heart connection tour team will kick off in 20 schools, targeting 1,000 young people (13 -19 years old) creating 375 agents of change in 3 different cities (Sousse, Tunis and Sfax). ATL Sousse is planning a small event for 2009 around the world AIDS day week to celebrate the accomplished steps and motivate dance4life Tunisia's first agents of change.
