Dr. Sadik is Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General and his Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Asia. In 1987, Dr. Sadik was appointed Executive Director of UNFPA, becoming one of the highest ranking women in the UN system and the first woman to lead one of its major programmes.

Tiësto, International Dance4Life Ambassador

Tiësto began as a DJ and producer in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 90’s, and soon became the Number 1 DJ in the World. As International Ambassador for Dance4Life he has appeared at many events, produced and released the ‘Dance4Life’ track and attracted much media interest to Dance4Life.

Alexey was one of the finalists in the "Secret of Success", the Russian equivalent of the X-factor. He then signed with Universal Music and since then has been the face of MTV and continued releasing singles and acting. He joined Dance4Life in 2008 as an Ambassador and has already visited schools with Dance4Life.

Benjamin is a DJ, producer and makes electronic music. A good friend of his has been living with HIV since 1996, and this has spurred him on to help in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Black Mango Music is a record label run by Africans living in and between London, Johannesburg, Harare and Cape Town. Don Diablo is a DJ who signed his first record deal at the age of fifteen, and his recently been nominated as one of the five most popular dance artists in the Netherlands. Not only did he perform at the Dance4Life Event, but he also travelled to South Africa with TMF to make a TV programme about HIV/AIDS there.

Ebby Sykes is a singer and musician, and his song ‘Sema Naye’ has appeared on the Dance4Life moodclip and can be heard on the Dance4Life radio. He also performed at the Dance4Life Event in Dar-es-Salaam, and gave his normally relaxed songs a reggae beat to get the crowds going.

Fid Q, Dance4Life Tanzania

When Fid Q created 'Ukweli na Uwazi' on the now classic 'Wachuja Nafaka' album, Bongo hip-hop was born again through the sharp lyricism of Fareed Kubanda, aka Fid Q! He is without doubt the biggest rapper in Tanzania, and when he appeared at the Dance4Life Event in 2006 the crowd went wild.

Giel is a well-known radio DJ in the Netherlands with a morning show on 3FM, and appears regularly on TV. He kicked off the Schools Project live on his radio show which was broadcast into all the classrooms of the participating schools. He also co-presented the Dance4Life Event in 2006.

Jesse Voorn, Dance4Life Netherlands

Jesse is known in the Netherlands as a DJ who mixes all types of music, and is to be found in most of the Dutch clubs and dance festivals. As a Dance4Life Ambassador he was spinning on the Dance4Life truck at the Fast Forward Dance Parade in Rotterdam in 2006, and in the same year at the Dance4Life Event. Recently Jesse released his track SeeMe, featuring ZoëXenia. The money that is raised with this track will be donated to Dance4Life!

Khaled joined the Egyptian Air Force but after a plane crash decided to become a DJ. It payed off, as in 2000 he won the title of The Best DJ in The Century in The Middle East. Not only does he DJ, but he produces and organises dance events, and he helped set up the Dance4Life Event in 2006.

Maxi Jazz, Dance4Life Netherlands

Maxi Jazz is the singer from Faithless, who have hits such as 'God is a DJ' and 'Insomnia'. They were hugely influential in the 90's, getting dance music accepted by the rock and pop public. Maxi Jazz collaborated with Tiësto on the 'Dance4Life' anthem and sang the lyrics. He also donated money from the ticket sales for the Faithless concert in September 2007 to Dance4Life.

Miljuschka Witzenhausen, Dance4Life Netherlands

Miljuschka was born in 1985 and at the age of twenty became a VJ for TMF, the Dutch music channel. In 2006 she travelled to South Africa and filmed a programme for TMFabout visiting HIV and AIDS youth projects which are supported by Dance4Life. She also co-hosted the Dance4Life Event in the Gelredome. In 2008 Miljuschka will host different Dance4Life events again.
