African Broadcasting Media Partnership

Convened by the Kaiser Family Foundation, Nelson Mandela Foundation and the South African Broadcasting Corporation in association with the Southern African Broadcasting Association, the ABMP responds to the goals of the Global Media AIDS Initiative (GMAI) launched by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan in 2004 and calls for the world’s media leaders to lend their communications expertise and resources to addressing the global HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Intelsat

Intelsat was an important partner for the live satellite link up of 15 countries during the dance4life events on the 29th of November 2008. Intelsat supported us by providing the satellite capacity needed to connect all European countries and US and Mexico as well as turn around stations that were needed for example to send back the World Feed to Africa. dance4life is very grateful to Intelsat, without their support we couldn’t have done it!

United Broadcast Facilities

United Broadcast Facilities is a full-service company providing facilities, technical and creative support for multimedia audiovisual productions. United Broadcast Facilities coordinated the live satellite link between 15 countries during the dance4life events on 29th November 2008.
