The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation

The Coca-Cola African Foundation was created by the Coca-Cola Company to coordinate the company’s corporate social investments in Africa. Since its inception, TCCAF has been particularly active in the area of prevention and awareness as well as the treatment and care of those with HIV and AIDS.

The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation and Dance4Life are joining forces for an initial three year period with TCCAF donating a total of $2.5m. In the first instance this will help fund the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Dance4Life project to mark World AIDS Day in Egypt, Kenya, South Africa and Tanzania. This support will not only greatly assist these African countries organisationally, content-wise and financially, but also the International Support Team.

TCCAF President Carole Wainaina said: “We are proud to be associated with Dance4Life. It is one of the most innovative programmes we found in the whole of Africa aimed at changing behaviour by involving the youth”.
