Thandukwazi Demor Sikhosana, Mnqobi Mdabe, and Nathi Maphumulo [Black Coffee] are Simply Hot And Naturally African (SHANA). They performed at the Dance4Life Event in 2006.

Experimenting with the African traditional genre, the guys from SHANA have fused elements of house and afro soul and add it to the mix. They’ve become something of an African traditional boy band in the process, if you will. Demor is a piano lecturer, Mnqobi a voice lecturer and Black Coffee is classically trained; he studied opera in KwaZulu-Natal.

“The problem with the youth in our country is that they're losing their identity. We are trying with our music to motivate them to take what is theirs and make it their own. We want the youngsters to never forget where they come from," said Mnqobi and Demor.

"Communicating empowering messages on responsible behaviour to young people is critical in the struggle against the spread of HIV, and Dance4Life strikes a powerful chord." – BlackCoffee
