Her Excellency Priscilla Jana, International Dance4Life Ambassador

The South African Ambassador to Ireland, Her Excellency, Priscilla Jana became a Dance4Life Ambassador when she was the South African Ambassador to the Netherlands, and she was involved in the launch of Dance4Life in 2004. Now in Dublin as South African Ambassador to Ireland, she invited Dance4Life Ireland to participate an event she hosted on the eve of World AIDS Day 2006 to raise awareness and acknowledge those who have died in the pandemic.

From 1975 to 1994, H.E. Priscilla Jana was a human rights lawyer who defended clients against the legally enforced apartheid regime. Her clients included Nelson Mandela. In 1994, after the first democratic election, she was elected as a Member of Parliament for the ANC.
