Durex

“An initiative embracing dance to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS among young people. A key part of the Durex Network is working with like-minded organisations to raise awareness of the safer sex message. We are delighted that one of our first partnerships has been established with Dance4Life.”

The Staying Alive Foundation is a charity hosted by MTV, which twice a year presents the Staying Alive Awards: small grants that support innovative projects in schools, youth centres, and clubs using radio, TV, print, on-line and personal interactions that reach at-risk youth and protect them from the multiple threats posed by HIV and AIDS.

Dance4Life is a partner of the Staying Alive Foundation, which means that Dance4Life can identify and nominate projects for the awards. The Foundation's mandate to support individuals fighting AIDS on the frontlines is an unusual grant-making strategy that is showing extraordinary results as more and more young Award winners become HIV-prevention leaders in their communities.

Staying Alive also creates Emmy award-winning campaigning consisting of documentaries, public service announcements, youth forums and multi-lingual Web content. Staying Alive provides all of its television programming rights-free and at no cost to other broadcasters globally to get crucial prevention messages out to the widest possible audience.
